Lisa Thornton is a passionate, local voice for Churchlands. Having lived, worked, and studied in the electorate for much of her life and as a long-serving City of Stirling Councillor, she understands what matters most to the community.  Her deep-rooted connection to Churchlands means she’s not just listening — she’s living it. 

Lisa lives in Doubleview, attended Churchlands Senior High School, and studied at ECU Churchlands. Lisa has been an active member of local netball and surf clubs and understands the importance of sports facilities and clubs to the community.

Her professional experience spans the resources sector, running a small business, and working as an educator in Science and Workplace Health and Safety.

With a genuine passion for people, free from party politics and vested interests, Lisa is ready to be a champion for Churchlands. She believes in putting the community first, ensuring local voices are heard, and driving positive change where it’s needed most.
